Meet Hannah Gaskins!
Owner/Family Nurse Practitioner
Hannah Gaskins is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and the founder of Saltwater Medspa in Ocean Isle Beach, North Carolina. A local native, Hannah opened her practice in 2021 to bring together the areas of
medicine she is most passionate about: hormone health, weight management, aesthetics, and personalized patient care.
Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Hannah spent eight years working as a registered nurse in trauma, orthopedics, and rehabilitation. Her experience included serving as a charge nurse and traveling to care for patients in different communities and healthcare settings. These roles
strengthened her clinical judgment, leadership, and ability to support patients through complex illnesses, injuries, and recovery.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Hannah completed a three-month deployment to a small hospital in Texas, helping provide lifesaving care with limited staffing and resources. That experience deepened her commitment to compassionate care, resourcefulness, and advocating for patients when they needed it most.
After earning her Family Nurse Practitioner qualification, Hannah performed in-home health assessments, gaining a broader understanding of how patients’ daily lives, environments, and access to care influence their health. She carried that perspective into Saltwater Medspa, where she emphasizes education, thoughtful assessment, and treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
Lee Ann Grainger-Smith is a Registered Nurse with a passion for aesthetics, patient care, and helping others feel beautiful both inside and out. With 8 years of experience in Emergency Medicine and 4 years in medical aesthetics, Lee Ann brings a strong foundation in patient safety, clinical knowledge, and attention to detail to every treatment she performs.
At Saltwater Medspa, Lee Ann believes aesthetic treatments should enhance your natural beauty, never take away from what makes you uniquely you. Her approach focuses on personalized treatment plans, facial balance, and natural-looking results that leave each patient feeling refreshed, confident, and beautiful in their own skin.
Lee Ann has a special love for laser treatments and is passionate about helping patients achieve healthier, more radiant skin. She takes pride in creating a comfortable, welcoming experience where every patient feels heard, valued, and cared for.

Lindsey Richardson is a Registered Nurse with seven years of nursing experience and a passion for helping others look, feel, and become the best versions of themselves. Certified in aesthetics since 2021, Lindsey combines her diverse clinical background with an artistic eye and a personalized approach to aesthetic medicine.
Throughout her nursing career, Lindsey has gained valuable experience in ntensive care, medical-surgical nursing, surgical care, home health, and primary care. Her professional background also extends into marketing, sales, and business development, giving her a unique combination of clinical expertise, creativity, and relationship-building skills.
A firm believer in patient-centered care, Lindsey understands that no two patients are alike. She takes pride in listening to her patients, understanding their individual concerns, and developing customized treatment plans that enhance their natural beauty while supporting their overall health and confidence.
For Lindsey, aesthetics is about much more than physical appearance. It’s about helping people feel their absolute best from the inside out.
She has a strong passion for hormone replacement therapy, wellness, and the connection between internal health and outward confidence. Lindsey believes in taking a comprehensive approach to patient care and is continually eager to expand her knowledge in aesthetic and wellness medicine.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her career is establishing genuine, lasting relationships with her patients and clients. She strives to create an environment where every individual feels heard, valued, comfortable, and confident in their care.
Beyond the treatment room, Lindsey is a devoted wife, proud mother of two girls, farm owner, and entrepreneur. Alongside her husband, she helps operate their family business while managing a farm filled with animals—including kangaroos! Her entrepreneurial spirit, love for animals, and dedication to her family are just a few of the things that make her unique.
Whether she’s caring for patients, growing a business, or spending time on the farm, Lindsey brings the same passion, determination, and personal touch to everything she does.
Her philosophy is simple: True confidence begins within, and exceptional care begins with genuine connection.
As a Medical Assistant at Saltwater Medspa, Jessica is passionate about making every patient feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from the moment they call or walk through the door. She works closely with Hannah Gaskins, FNP, and the rest of the team to support patients throughout their weight loss and wellness journeys.

Outside of work, Jessica enjoys Bible study, volunteering at church gatherings, and spending quality time with her family. She also loves caring for her goats and chickens and giving back to her community by sharing fresh eggs with local families and charities. Her faith, compassion, and love for serving others are values she carries with her both inside and outside the Medspa.
Meet Your Esthetician, Amaya Vierra!
Amaya is a Licensed Esthetician with five years of experience, a passion for corrective skincare, wellness, and client education. She blends advanced, results-driven treatments with personalized care and a holistic perspective to address aging, pigmentation, acne, and overall skin health.
Committed to continued education, Amaya stays current in the evolving field of aesthetics, with advanced training in SkinPen® microneedling, chemical peels, Morpheus8 RF, and other corrective modalities. Her approach is intentional and never one-size-fits-all. With each treatment thoughtfully tailored to the individual, she strives to help clients feel cared
